The first part is reading from the Talmud about Rabbi Shimon and the second part is from a talk of the Rebbe in Likutei Sichos volume 3 (from a talk the Rebbe gave on Lag Baomer 5722/1962)

The theme is how we should always meditate on the idea that in the service of Hashem our efforts are only half the story...Enjoy.

This is from a Sicha of the Rebbe in the year 1984. It was published in Likutei Sichos (in Hebrew) volume 31 Page 132.
Tonight (Sunday) and tomorrow is Yud Shevat. (The 10th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat). This is the day in which in 1950 the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe passed away and a year later the Rebbe publicly accepted the leadership of the Chabad Lubavitch movement.
On that day it is customary to study the Chassidic discourse called "Bosi Legani" (I have come to my garden).
In this audio class I was discussing a talk from the Rebbe regarding some points from this Chassidic discourse. I am sharing here the first 15 minutes of this class.
The original talk of the Rebbe that this class is based on is from 1969 and is published in Likutei Sichos volume 6.
In honor of Yud Shvat I am sharing a recording of part of a Class I gave in Tzfat.
In this class I am teaching interesting ideas about this very important Chassidic discourse called: "Bosi Legani". I am not teaching the actual discourse here just a few important points about it that are very good to know.
This class is intended for those who are already familiar with this discourse. To learn more about Bosi Legani you can go to chabad.org and read more about it. Here is a link.

Here is a recent class I gave in Tzfat about the connection between the Rambam and The Alter Rebbe.
This Class is based on a talk the Rebbe gave on the Alter Rebbe’s Yortzeit in the year 5741 (1981). In this talk the Rebbe pointed out some similarities between the Alter Rebbe and the Rambam both in their life and in their teachings.
This talk of the Rebbe was later rewritten and published in Yiddish in Likutei Sichos Volume 26 Page 26 and on.
I gave this Class in Tzfat on January 2, 2013. The class is 56:27 Minutes.
